About C.B. Koppiker, M.D.

Dr. C.B. Koppiker is the Founder and Managing Trustee of Prashanti Cancer Care Mission, a cancer-focused NGO in Pune active in providing affordable cancer care and cancer education, training and research. For his high-impact medical and social work, Dr. C.B. Koppiker has been widely felicitated by numerous recognitions and awards by his medical peers as well as by various social organizations.

Through its multi-pronged activities, viz. Clinical, Academics, Research and Support Activities, PCCM has been able to serve over 8000 patients annually in and around Pune city.

Dr Koppiker lead the establishment of the 1st integrated cancer center in the city namely the Budhrani Cancer Institute, at the Inlaks and Budhrani Hospital, Pune. He then helped set up 2 more reputed cancer centers as the Director of Ruby Hall Clinic Cancer Centerand Cancer Clinic and Research Center at Jehangir Hospital in Pune. Dr. C.B. Koppiker has been an international investigator in several important oncology trials and has collaborated with translational biomedical researchers from premier research institutes in India and abroad.
