'OUR' Marathon

	Prashanti Cancer Care Mission conducted "Our Marathon" at Police Camp, Shivaji Nagar. Around 20,000 participants attended the event. Actress Kajol, Tanisha graced the occassion. Actor Ajay Devgan & others from film faternity were also present.

Run Pune Run was the 1st annual 10K run organized by Prashanti Care Mission in aid of breast cancer. In addition, there was also a 3km fun walk/run to encourage greater participation. The event was flagged off from ISHAANYA on Sunday 28th October at 7am, which witnessed over a thousand runners who included cancer survivors, care givers, doctors, members of the medical fraternity, cycling club members, running club members, Harley Davidson bikers etc.

Actress Tanuja, who graced the run, was part of this event to support breast cancer. There were many Industrialists and socialites who supported this cause, Tarita Shankar, Nitin Nyati, Anil and Neelam Seolkekar, Ritoo Chabbria, Sabina amongst others. The event was followed a dance performance by Ace Bollywood Choreographer Shiamak Davar’s troupe and a performance by Sandeep Soparkar’s group.

The run was to bring forward people from all walks of life to spread awareness about breast cancer.
